InfluenceConnect ("we", "us", or "our") operates the platform available at inful.online. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
• Creator Profile Data: Bio, category, location, website URL, and profile photo.
• Instagram Data: Instagram username, follower count, media count, engagement metrics, and post-level statistics (likes, comments) obtained via the Meta Graph API when you connect your Instagram account.
• Facebook Page Data: Facebook Page names, fan counts, and linked Instagram Business Account information obtained via the Meta Graph API.
• Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, and interaction patterns on the platform.
• Communications: Messages exchanged between creators and brands through our messaging system.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account on the platform.
• To display your creator profile, social media reach, and services to potential brand partners.
• To compute aggregated statistics (engagement rate, average reach) shown on your profile.
• To facilitate communication between creators and brands.
• To improve platform features and user experience.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, important notices).
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Meta / Facebook Data

We integrate with the Meta Graph API to retrieve Instagram and Facebook data. By connecting your Instagram or Facebook account, you authorise InfluenceConnect to access:

• Your Instagram Business/Creator account profile and statistics.
• Your Facebook Pages and their associated fan counts.
• Instagram media insights (impressions, reach, profile views) where permitted by Meta.

We store this data on our servers to power your creator profile and keep platform statistics current. We do not post on your behalf, send messages on your behalf, or access private direct messages.

You can disconnect your Instagram and Facebook accounts at any time from your Creator Dashboard, which immediately removes your access tokens and resets your social statistics.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Other platform users: Your creator profile information (name, bio, social stats, services) is visible to registered brand users browsing the platform.
• Service providers: Cloud hosting (server infrastructure) necessary to operate the platform.
• Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for longer.

Social media data (Instagram/Facebook statistics) fetched via the Meta API is deleted from our servers when you disconnect the respective account or delete your InfluenceConnect account.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords (Argon2), and restricted database access. We regularly review our security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

8. Cookies

We use minimal session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not directed at individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
